I am Maxwell Brumbelow, and my label is Partaxx Music. I am an Oregon based composer of many different styles and genres. My focus is on video game music. I have been writing songs since I was 10, and became interested in video game music when I turned 11 and the game Halo was released. The soundtrack, composed by Marty O'Donnell, was nothing short of incredible for me. I realized that a soundtrack can make or break a game. If done right, it can massively enhance your experience, or even give you an experience where there ordinarily would have been none. Music is extremely important for getting as immersed as possible in a story.
Ever since then, I have been working to hone my musical skills. I chiefly compose entirely digitally using Cubase and Adobe Audition, but I also play and occasionally record with acoustic/electric guitars, acoustic/electric basses, piano, drums, and voice. I have worked on many projects, both personal and professional. I have outlined them in my portfolio section. I also have been attending Portland State University pursuing a bachelor's degree in Music Composition.
If you are interested in having me work on your project, please don't hesitate to let me know. I am actively seeking work! Click on the "Contact Me" button on the top of the screen and shoot me a message.
